Wells College Store
Problem Statement
Redesign the outdated website we built for the Wells College Store in 2014.
Wells College Store had gone through some changes since we created their first website on the Magento platform. Before we started the process of design, we learned about their new system and the current buying habits of the students, parents, and alumni.
We created a custom design that was on-par with current design standards, using modern fonts, heavy imagery, and elements unique to the campus.
This time around, we developed the website on the WordPress platform, which would allow a much user-friendly experience for those who would administer the site. The college had an on-site staff that would be partially responsible for making some changes to the website. This update increased their efficiency and was a better experience than the older system.
We setup the e-commerce section of the site with an integration between WooCommerce and their Lightspeed system that had been implemented in the store.
